Our environmental concerns begin at the drawing board. That's why all Miele products are designed to be recycled: Insulation can be removed and reused. Valuable metal components can be easily segregated and all plastic components are specially marked according to their composition, so that they too can be efficiently recycled when the time arrives.
Environmental concerns are also engineered into the daily operation of our machines. Miele's Eco-Sensor system evaluates waste water quality and will automatically determine if the unit actually needs more water -- an ingenious feature that can reduce water consumption by over 2 gallons per cycle. Electronic flow meters precisely measure water intake and our triple filter system insures proper cleaning.
