The coffee machine only dispenses water (built-in appliances).
Beans can also become jammed if the variety involves very large coffee beans or very different bean sizes.
Take the bean container out of the coffee machine.
Carefully shake the bean container once in your hands.
Put the bean container back in the coffee machine.
Dark roast coffee beans are often oily. These oils can cling to the inside of the coffee bean container and hinder the flow of beans.
Therefore, clean the bean container at least once a month.
Clean the coffee bean container more often if you are using a darker, more oily bean.
CVA 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx:
Risk of damage from incorrect use and cleaning.
Clean the bean container, including the lid, by hand using a mild solution of warm water and liquid dish soap.
Clean the bean container at least once a month:
Open the coffee machine door.
Pull the bean container completely out of the coffee machine.
Pull the lid of the bean container back and empty the bean container.
Clean the bean container, including the lid, by hand using a mild solution of warm water and liquid dish soap.
Dry the bean container and the lid carefully before refilling the bean container with coffee beans.
Slide the lid back onto the bean container.
Push the bean container back into the coffee machine.
Close the appliance door.
CVA 7xxx:
Risk of damage from incorrect use and cleaning.
Immersing the bean containers in liquids can result in malfunctions. If they are taken apart, bits may break off or the mechanism may no longer work properly once they are reassembled.
Do not disassemble the bean containers.
Do not immerse the bean containers in liquids, e.g., soapy water.
Clean the bean containers at least once a month with a soft cloth:
Open the coffee machine door.
Pull the left and right-hand bean containers out of the coffee machine.
Remove the lids and empty the bean containers.
Do not remove the components for improving the flow of the beans (see arrow).
Clean the bean containers and lids by hand using a moist cloth.
If required, you can clean the lids of the bean containers by hand with a mild solution of warm water and liquid dish soap.
Dry the bean containers and lids carefully before refilling the bean containers with coffee beans.
Reattach the lids.
Push the bean containers back into the coffee machine.
Close the appliance door.

The lid of the ground coffee chute has been opened and closed again. Use ground coffee? yes was selected on the display. However, no ground coffee was added to the machine. The coffee machine automatically switches back to using coffee beans after the drink has been prepared.
This is not a fault.
