Crema not formed correctly

The coffee machine is not forming the crema correctly.

The grinder setting may be too coarse or too fine.

Change the grinder setting.

The coffee beans are no longer fresh or the type of beans is unsuitable.

If roasted coffee beans are stored open for too long, the carbon dioxide gradually escapes from the coffee beans. The crema is no longer formed during dispensing.

Replace the coffee beans.

Use a different type of beans if necessary.

The spouts are too high.

Set the dispensing spouts lower. There should ideally be a 1 cm gap between the spouts and the cup below.

The wrong temperature range has been selected for the type of coffee.

Set the right temperature range for the type of coffee in question.
