The water container is not positioned properly in the coffee machine.
Remove the water container.
Reinsert the water container.
If necessary, remove the water container from the coffee machine and reinsert it repeatedly (10–20 times).
Push in water container until it engages appears on the coffee machine display.
Remove the water container.
Reinsert the water container.
If necessary, remove the water container from the coffee machine and reinsert it repeatedly (10–20 times).
Fill the water container up to the relevant mark and restart the process.
Perform or repeat the descaling procedure.

Check whether the water hardness set on the coffee machine corresponds to the actual water hardness on site.
If limescale builds up repeatedly, use a higher water hardness setting.
When setting hardness levels (1–4): 1 hardness level higher than the set hardness level
When setting degrees of hardness: 7 degrees of hardness higher than the set degree of hardness

After you have corrected the fault, switch the coffee machine off, wait for a moment, then switch it back on.
You can now resume using the appliance as you wish.
If the fault message still appears on the display, repeat the descaling process.
