The cookware was filled with too little or too much water.
Fill the cookware with water according to the MIN/MAX markings on the inside of the pot. Make sure that the water does not exceed the mark once the food has been added.

Food boils over with M Sense
The food is boiling over in the M Sense pot.
Placing a lid incorrectly on an item of cookware disrupted a sensor.
Place the cookware lid flush on the top of the item of cookware.
Another program is more suitable for preparing the food.
Change the program. Examples for selecting a program can be found in the program table, see “Programs – Food and cookware programs”. Make sure that there is no food other than water or oil in the cookware during a heating-up phase.
Try out other programs until you are satisfied with the result.
Food was added before the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster program.
Wait until the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster program before adding food to the pot.

If you have accidentally added food to the pot before the end of the heating-up phase of the Booster program, touch Cooking/Booster once.
The heating-up phase of the Booster program is deactivated.
The setting for the installation altitude on the cooktop does not match the installation site.
Find out the altitude of the installation site.
Adjust the installation altitude on the cooktop (see the “Adjusting settings” section of the operating and installation instructions for your cooktop).
