Fault F52

The dishwasher display shows fault F52.

Excess quantity of detergent/rinse aid dispensed.

A sensor has detected too much foam inside the appliance. The wash program has been interrupted.

To remove the fault message, set the program selector to Stop/Finish or, if you are using light-touch switches, press and hold Start/Stop for around 5 seconds.

Switch your appliance off and back on again.

If you are using dishwasher tabs that already contain rinse aid, select the combination tab function (if applicable).

Do not use dishwasher tabs with the Express program.

If the fault persists, please contact Miele Service or book a repair appointment online.

For thorough and gentle cleaning of glasses, dishware, and cutlery, Miele recommends using Miele products.

The on-site drainage connection is situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the door.
For example, in the case of a dishwasher installed at a height, the on-site drainage connection may be situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the door.

If the on-site drainage connection is situated lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers in the open door, the drainage system must be vented. Otherwise, a siphoning effect can cause the wash cabinet to empty itself of water during a program.

Open the dishwasher door fully.

Remove the lower basket.

Insert a screwdriver into the middle opening of the vent valve in the left wash cabinet wall .

Press the screwdriver further into the opening and push it through the membrane behind.

The ventilation opening for the water drain is now open.
