Con@ctivity refers to the communication between your Miele appliances.
Depending on the features of your appliances, Con@ctivity uses various technologies for the purpose of communication.
For example, Con@ctivity between the cooktop and ventilation hood means that the settings on your cooktop are recorded and transferred to the ventilation hood controls, which automatically adjust the power level. This ensures that the appliance responds to the anticipated level of cooking vapors at an early stage, creating an ideal room climate.
With Con@ctivity between the oven and the ventilation hood, the ventilation hood switches on automatically as soon as Self Clean is started on the oven. This prevents the unpleasant odors that can occur during Self Clean.
When Con@ctivity is used between a built-in coffee machine and Gourmet warming drawer, the timers set for the coffee machine are activated for both appliances. This means that the Gourmet warming drawer is always switched on 30 minutes before the coffee machine to preheat the dishware.
After the built-in coffee machine has been switched off, the Gourmet warming drawer continues to operate for a further 30 minutes. The display shows “1h” during the run-on time. 30 minutes are displayed as a full hour.
