With its roots in southern Italy, nduja is a spicy, creamy salami that Afrim enjoys using for quick, flavorful appetizers. This toast is simple yet full of bold flavors that make it perfect for sharing.
Ingredients:
100g nduja (at room temperature)
100g stracciatella cheese
A drizzle of good olive oil
1 heirloom tomato, diced
A handful of finely chopped basil
Salt
1 toasted baguette
Preparation:
- Prepare the Bread: Butterfly the baguette to make two halves.
- Assemble the Toast: Spread the creamy nduja onto one half of the bread. Add small dollops of stracciatella cheese on top of the nduja.
- Top with Tomatoes: Add diced tomatoes onto the cheese, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with finely chopped basil and serve immediately.
