A recipe sure to put a jig in your step and help you feel the luck of the Irish

Elevate your coffee experience and enjoy this timeless classic, effortlessly prepared at home using your Miele coffee machine. With precision brewing and barista-quality results at the touch of a button, every sip blends smooth espresso, bold whiskey, and a delicate cream topping to perfection.

Ingredients:

1 ½ oounces of Irish whiskey
1 - 2 tsp maple syrup
6 ounces (approx. ¾ cup) hot freshly brewed coffee
Whipped cream, for topping

Preparation:

  1. Prepare your coffee 
  2. Pour whiskey and maple syrup into a heat-safe mug. Pour in a splash of coffee and stir until maple syrup is dissolved.
  3. Pour in the rest of the coffee. Taste, and stir in additional maple syrup for a more sweetened taste.
  4. Top with whipped cream. Serve while the drink is still warm!

 

Tips:

  • If your whipped cream is lightly whipped (soft peaks), you may need to pour it slowly over a spoon so it floats on top.
